Welcome to Sunny Beach

He is the winner of the Blue Flag Eco Award and is located in the southern part of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, about 40 km from the regional town of Burgas. Called "Sunny" because of June to September very few cloudy days. The breeze is cool and the water clean, at the beginning of the season is in a beautiful turquoise color.
Sunny Beach is situated on a crescent-shaped bay facing east. The northern hour reaches Sveti Vlas, and to the south it connects to Nessebar. The surrounding mountains favor the cleanness of the air in the resort. The beach is more than 8 km long and 30 to 60 m wide. Among the natural dunes there are 16 rare species plants. Here you can walk on the promenade which connects the resort with the town of Nessebar, take a mini-boat, rent a yacht, a bicycle or cycling, spending time in the park, surfing and water skiing. The complex has tennis clubs, horse riding, bowling, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, mini golf course, kart track, aqua parks and many other entertainment venues. Built with a great bed base plus many shops and restaurants. On 1.06, 1959 was opened the first restaurant - Neptune, and on 8.06.01959 the first hotel - "Kalina" on June 8, 1959. In its borders there is a bowling place - beach Cacao Beach, where they hit the world-famous DJs.
If you want to walk outside the resort of 3.5 km is the Old Nessebar, which is an architectural and historical reserve. The Archaeological Museum, the Basilica of St Bogoroditsa Eleusta, which is located on the northern coast of Nessebar, the Church of Saint Archangels Michael and Gabriel, the Basilica of St. Sophia, St. Stephen's Church against it has a shop with natural Baltic amber, the fortress Messemvria, whose oldest remains are from the 5th century. Sit in the bar "Michael," introducing your guests to the Fleetstone world, or eating at a beachfront restaurant.
Between Nessebar and Ravda is the wonderful paradise aqua park with 40 attractions and facilities, daily show programs and games with the guests of the park. The park has secured free parking. If you have visited Nessebar, Sveti Vlas is on the opposite shore. Here are the monasteries "Saint Andrew" and "Saint Vlasius", they are part of the medieval monasteries forming the Little World Forest. Close to St. Andrew's Monastery there is a holy spring of medicinal water, and in St. Vlasius are preserved the relics of Saint Vlasius, Holy Apostle Andrew and a fragment of the Lord's cross.
7 km away from Sunny Beach is Robinson beach and 8 km away is Elenite beach. 13 km Poroi Dam - a place for amateur and sport fishing, boat trip, there is the possibility of picnic and camping. Here you can also catch carp, red-breasted, karakuda, tolstolob and taranka. 16 km from Sunny Beach is Irakli beach. It is characterized by virgin nature and campsites. Here are plants that are listed in the Bulgarian Red Book and are protected by the Law on biodiversity.
Another opportunity for recreation in the nature is camping "Lausana" located between Aheloy and Pomorie. There are bungalows and places for caravans and campers. It is near Pomorie a lake from which salt and healing mud is extracted, and not far from it is the Museum of Salt, which is the only one in Bulgaria and Eastern Europe in its way of extracting salt, through the solar evaporation of sea water. Above the lake passes Via Pontica, one of the major migratory birds in Europe. About 269 different species birds were observed in the area. There is also the "Old Pomorie Houses" reserve, as well as the "Khuata mogila", which is a typical Thracian tomb and a Roman mausoleum (heroon) of a wealthy family from Anhialo. It is built of stone and bricks and has a mushroom dome, which is why it is unique in the Balkan Peninsula.
Do not miss to visit the ethnographic complex "The Golden Barrel" near the village of Bata. Here you can touch the old crafts - pottery, carving, yes see a camp and a place for fire on which the fire-dancers reproduce their dances on hot coals. If you want to see the scale that is a conditional boundary between the northern and southern Bulgarian Black Sea coast go to Cape Emine, which is the eastern end of the Balkan Mountains. The nose is a 60 meter-long rock, surrounded by underwater and overlying water rocks. That's why the coast here is dangerous for shipping. But this will not prevent you from enjoying the infinite the seashore and the remains of the Emona fortress and the medieval monastery. For the lovers of tourism is the eco-trail "Kaleto" near the town of Obzor. It is 2200 meters long. On the way you can see the Ayazmoto area, a fountain with healing water, the Parvomayi fountain and its guard the stone bear. Nearby there is a beautiful waterfall, whose water falls 10 meters
