The village of Krapets is on the very seashore, 5,3 km south on a straight line from the southern coast of Durankulak lake. Krapets has a huge, non-urbanized, 7.5 km long dune beach. It starts from Cape Krapets in the old Karvuna camping near the village, continues ahead the lagoon of the Durankulak Lake biosphere and archeological reserve and ending far north at Kartalbuuren Cape after "Camping Cosmos". The village is a resort. Besides marine, hunting, fishing and ecotourism are developing here.
