Welcome to Golden Sands

Winner of the Blue Flag award for ecologically clean area and the oldest of the resorts on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, Golden Sands is located 17 km from the sea capital of Varna. The complex is beautiful and modern. Its beach line is 3,5 km long and 100 m wide. The average temperature in the summer rarely exceeds 27 degrees. The first hotel built here is named "Oasis" and although it has been over 60 years since the beginning of Golden Sands to be one of the leading seaside resorts on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, over time the complex has become not only a holiday destination, but also as an oasis of communication, a place for conducting symposia, seminars, trainings and round tables. From Golden Sands there is an opportunity for excursions to Kamen Bryag, where the archaeological site "Yailata", known for its many tombs, is 2 km south, stone houses, Early Byzantine fortress wall and "Fire" - a gas field from the 1950s, which still burns today, to Cape Kaliakra - picturesque with rocks and its fortress, to Taukliman or Nauva Tuzla to the north of Cape Kaliakra, to the Pobiti stones, which are limestone columns. They're called because they look like they're in the sand. Other opportunities for excursions are to the Aladzha Rock Monastery, to the old capitals of Veliki Preslav and Pliska and Madara with her famous Madara horseman. Near the cape of Kaliakra is the village of Bulgareevo. In the vicinity is the mussel farm "Deep" which will be yours offer fresh seafood caught by the bay of Kaliakria and prepared while drinking a glass of wine and watching the sunset over the sea splashing its waves to you.
